PHRI's major intellectual property is a series of inventions collectively called "Molecular Beacons." The primary inventors of molecular beacons are PHRI scientists Dr. Fred Kramer and Dr. Sanjay Tyagi. Molecular beacons have been patented and licensed to over 40 licensees for a variety of diagnostic, research and other purposes.
